This coming Friday Evening March the 4th, from 6-8 p.m. PRIZM Creative Community and the Ford Gallery will host a Closing Reception for the collection of art works currently being featured in The Ford Gallery. The special attraction of the reception will be the opportunity for the community to meet the new Part time Executive Director recently hired by the PRIZM Board of Directors. The Ford Gallery is located inside Spaghetti Warehouse at 42. S. Superior Street in Toledo.

Greeting the public in her new role as part-time Executive Director will be Laurie Cohen a seasoned volunteer and non-profit worker who has accepted the challenge of becoming the first hired staff to assist PRIZM in its non-profit mission. Joe Ludwig, President of the PRIZM board of directors said, “Laurie will bring to PRIZM a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for enriching our community. We look forward to having her join the PRIZM team.” The introduction of staff to support the PRIZM program is part of PRIZM’S Building a Sure Foundation Plan, in a grant provided by The Toledo Community Foundation.

PRIZM which up until now has been a 100% volunteer organization will continue to rely on the extensive talents and generosity of its Board of Directors and talented members in order to offer its extensive community programming in the visual and literary arts.
