(Released March 23, 2011) - Please join the Women Alive! Coalition for a celebration of the Silver Anniversary issue of In Search of Our Past: Women of Northwest Ohio, Volume XI. Published by the Women Alive! Coalition, Women’s History Committee, this year’s book celebrates the rich history of many diverse and talented local women of Northwest Ohio.

Featured articles portray the lives of Edrene Benson Cole, Mildred Wirt Benson, Rusty Monroe, Betty Jo Carstensen, Joe Ann Cousino, Jane Forsyth, Joyce “Snowfeather” Mahaney, Helen O’Connell, Ottabee Simms, and Virginia Binkley Wiezbicki.

Several more essays feature nine notable “Ladies of Fulton County.”
A variety of authors will be available for discussion and exchange.
