Annual Student Art Exhibition Opening at Lourdes
This spring, Lourdes is presenting its annual student art exhibition. Held in McAlear Hall, the juried exhibition opens with a reception for the community and artists on Saturday, April 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. Students who created works of art in a Lourdes class from spring 2010 to spring 2011 were eligible for submission. This year’s exhibition features more than 100 works in a variety of artistic mediums including:
• Ceramics - Earthenware, Stoneware)
• Drawings - Charcoal, Conte` Crayon, Graphite
• Drypoint etchings
• Linocut prints
• Mixed media
• Paintings - Acrylic, Oil and Watercolor)
• Recycled material
• Sculpture.
