The University Of Toledo Dance Marathon Continues To Bring New Hope For A Future Generation
Toledo, Oh April 13, 2011- The University of Toledo’s largest philanthropic event raising over $53,000.00 in 2010 for St. Vincent Mercy Children's Hospital is happening now!

UT will host Dance Marathon at the student recreation center on April 15 to April 16, 2011.
Dance Marathon is a16 hour event where over 600 students from 250 different organizations will dance all night long to raise money for rehabilitation programs at St. Vincent Mercy Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network.

Since Dance Marathon has started at UT, the students have been able to fund the hospitals game room as well as purchase incubators for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

“Since 2002 we’ve been working hard raising over $400,000.00 for the children at St. Vincent Mercy. It’s all about helping the kids,” says overall director Lauren Andereson-Sonnenburg.
This year at Dance Marathon we are lucky enough to have 15 miracle children with us.
Miracle children are children who have a disease or illness and have been affected by the care of Children’s Miracle Network.

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals. We are the only national children's charity committed to having 100% of the funds raised stay local to support local kids (dancemarathon.com)

But, as we continue to raise our efforts we could really use the city of Toledo’s support. Donations are being accepted at www.helpmakemiracleshappen.org/utdm2011
