Independent Toledo Promoter Presents "Broadway in the City: Hopes and Dreams"
Musical review features local talent in three weekend performances at 20 North Gallery
Toledo, OH—April 15, 2011. Beginning Friday, April 29th the venue of 20 North Gallery will be transformed into an intimate Broadway cabaret when eight local singers and actors present the "Broadway in the City: Hopes and Dreams" a musical review for a weekend run of three performances.
The production will encompass a wide variety of musical selections from Broadway shows that range from popular block-buster favorites to lesser-known “gems” sure to beguile the audience. Set to live accompaniment, the songs will run the emotional gamut from comedy to drama to romance.
Tickets for the performance are $20 and include the Poco Piatti grazing buffet served prior to the performance and at intermission. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Doors will open at 7:30p.m.
Producer & Director Lindsey Denham states, “The 'Broadway in the City: Hopes and Dreams' musical review gives Toledo audience members the opportunity to enjoy a ‘New York-style’ of evening in the elegant space of 20 North Gallery—and showcases the Big-City talent of eight local performers.”
Appearing in the production will be familiar stars of Toledo’s theater scene, including Victoria Monhollen-Clyce, Lindsey Marie Denham, Stefan Gearhart, Wesley Grudzien, Eric Hillenbrand, Ann M. Steck, Katie Zarecki and Ryan Christopher Zarecki.
The April 2011 "Broadway in the City: Hopes and Dreams" musical review is the latest performance of this semi-annual production, now in its third season.
