Ride of Silence - Bike Ride
Meet at the University of Toledo Wednesday, May 18 at 6:45 pm to join in this community bike ride. Last year more than 200 riders participated. This is a bike ride at slow speeds and in silence to remember people who have been injured or killed while riding on our streets. The ride is for all ages. Helmets are required. Police escorts will block traffic and protect riders. The route is through parts of west Toledo and will include part of the Robert Brundage trail at Ottawa Park. The ride is one way to remind drivers to share the road and watch for cyclists. www.biketoledo.org
