Megan Coyle Stamos, Vice President of Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services announced today that her firm has been selected to become an exclusive, Certified Veterans & Family Memorial Care Provider. VFMC Providers are family owned & operated. They are selected for upholding the highest level of ethical business standards and integrity while providing outstanding, affordable professional service. The staff of Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services are experts in assisting families with all aspects of the final arrangement process. They work closely with all Veterans Service Organizations and local Hospices.

The government does an excellent job providing veterans and their spouses with burial benefits if you use a Veterans National or State cemetery, however there are very limited benefits for the funeral or cremation arrangements.

Joseph Coyle and Megan Coyle Stamos, owners of Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services, have demonstrated a willingness and commitment to reach out to veterans and their families by providing affordable, quality funeral & cremation arrangements. They honor and pay tribute to veterans everyday.

Another way the staff of Coyle Funeral Home and Cremation Services are reaching out is by their participation in the Cell Phones for Soldiers project. More than 150,000 troops are serving overseas and are away from their families. Hundreds of Veterans & Family Memorial Care Providers nationwide are calling on all Americans to support these brave men and women by donating your old cell phones. Included in becoming an Exclusive Veterans & Family Memorial Care Provider, Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services in Toledo, Ohio has become an official drop off site for Cell Phones for Soldiers to help troops stay connected with their families. Old cell phones will be recycled and proceeds will be used to purchase calling cards for our troops so they stay connected with their families.

Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services also has become an Old Glory Collection Center as part of their proud membership in Veterans & Family Memorial Care. The mission is to collect old, tattered, unusable flags to be retired in a dignified manner in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.

Local residents can support the collection drives by donating their old cell phones and tattered flags at Coyle Funeral and Cremation Services located at 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
