MOM’S NIGHT OUT ANNUAL GALA AND AUCTION
WHAT: Mom’s House® of Toledo – a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low-income, young single mothers to reach their educational and parenting goals – is celebrating its 18th year of service with its Mom’s Night Out Annual Gala and Auction at The Pinnacle on Friday, May 6, 2011. This year’s guests of honor are long-time Mom’s House champion Amy Weemes, and her two sons, DJ, a senior student-athlete at Springfield High School, and Eric Page, an All-American college football player at The University of Toledo.
WHERE: The Pinnacle, 1772 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, Ohio.
WHEN: Friday, May 6, 2011:
6:30 p.m.: Doors open, bidding begins, open discussion with 2011 Mom of the Year Amy Weemes and her sons
7:15 p.m.: Master of Ceremonies Mary Beth Zolik welcomes guests and announces the evening’s silent auction table times and Adopt-a-Mom program
8:00 p.m.: Event begins with introductions of Hal Reed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Christina Rodriguez, Executive Director
8:15 p.m.: Video tribute to Amy Weemes and acceptance speech, poetry reading from current Mom’s House student, and a special message from Christina Rodriguez: “Mom’s House Path to Success”
8:30 p.m.: Recognition of past honorees Fran Anderson, Kathy Holmes and Lisha Washington
8:55 p.m.: A live auction you don't want to MISS!
9:15 p.m.: Program closes with raffle for a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
