Bark in the Park – Walk for the Animals
It’s that time of year again, Bark in the Park – Walk for the Animals on Sunday, May 15. Raise pledges to support homeless animals in our community! Then “fetch” your sneakers, grab your furry friend for a 1.5 mile journey around Arrowhead Park.
The event opens at 9am, registration begins at 10am with the walk kicking off at 11am. Every person who raises $25 or more receives a commemorative event t-shirt! This year – an exciting announcement about the Toledo Area Humane Society will be made at the beginning of the walk!
Stick around for the afternoon full of family friendly activities - live remote, carnival style games, exciting dog contests, music, food and much more!
New this year – supporters can go online at www.toledoareahumanesociety.org and create their own Bark in the Park walk website. Upload pictures of your furry friends, send requests for pledges to friends and relatives through email or Facebook, share stories and so much more!
The Toledo Area Humane Society’s mission is to lead the community in efforts focused on relieving the suffering of, preventing cruelty to, and providing for humane treatment of animals!
