2-Scale to Host Event SMB Toledo Event on QR Codes
2-Scale, a 3-Dimensional branding and experiential marketing company, welcomes Social Media Breakfast Toledo to their 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Holland, Ohio on Saturday, May 21. Event runs 8:30-10 a.m.
Acapella Media president, John Hondroulis, will speak to the audience about QR codes: what they are, what businesses need to know and how to utilize them to drive engagement.
“We wanted to host this wonderful event for a couple of reasons,” says Sharon Skilliter, 2-Scale managing partner. “First, QR codes are one of the hottest topics today. They are becoming more popular with marketers, and in turn, businesses and consumers are catching on. In fact, I recently read that around 32% of smartphone users say they have used a QR code and 70% say they would be interested to do so, either for the first time or again. Second, we have a beautiful new showroom perfect for hosting community events like Social Media Breakfast Toledo and we thought this would be a perfect event to show it off.”
Presenter, John Hondroulis, is a Digital Strategist who enjoys challenging the status quo with his philosophy, "forget it if it's not memorable". John has been in the digital marketspace since Internet Explorer 2 was launched and the iPhone was called a "Newton". He is fluent in designer, developer and client-speak. John's goal is to work with clients that learn from the past, work in the present and live for the future.
