Central Catholic Creativity & Technology Conference
Central Catholic High School invites educators and business leaders to participate in the Creativity and Technology Integration in Innovative Education (CATIIE) Conference on June 14 at the school, 2550 Cherry Street. The conference is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and a post-conference gathering.
The CATIIE Conference specifically focuses on and delivers presentations that demonstrate curricular best practices in creativity and technology integration. The sessions will take real-world educational objectives and standards and show how these are being delivered to students using lessons that incorporate 21st century skills and exceptional creativity.
Many sessions would be of interest to business leaders trying to incorporate state-of-the-art web-based applications and social networks into their organizations.

Central Catholic has been successfully implementing a one-to-one laptop computer program since 2007. This program, called One Connected Community, provides Apple MacBook computers to incoming freshman students to be used throughout their four years at Central Catholic.
