'Design a T-Shirt Contest' winners announced!
Congratulations to Mary Cole (right) from Anthony Wayne High School and Enoch Jones (left) from Columbus Grove Elementary for winning the Mud Hens 'Design a T-Shirt Contest'!
Over the past four months, 30 different schools from Ohio and Michigan have participated in the 3rd annual Toledo Mud Hens "Design a T-Shirt Contest."
Artwork from students was submitted and the Mud Hens staff narrowed it down to the top three (3) high school designs, and the top three (3) Middle School/Elementary designs. Artwork was posted at www.mudhens.com, and voted on by you, our fans, to determine a winner.
Winners for Elementary/Middle School category:
· 1st Place: Enoch Jones, Columbus Grove Elementary
· 2nd Place: Emily Paulson, Toledo Christian Middle School
· 3rd Place: Griffin Preuss, Whiteford Elementary
Winners for High School category:
· 1st Place: Mary Cole, Anthony Wayne High School
· 2nd Place: Lexus Sullivan, Woodward High School
· 3rd Place: Colin Cummerow, Toledo Christian High School
The grand prize winners each won a $100 to the Swamp Shop AND the Mud Hens will create shirts based on the design and donate 20% of the proceeds to the winning artist's school!
