Summer Youth Golf Clinic to be Offered at Collins Park
Local youth looking to learn the techniques and etiquette of golf will have the opportunity to access professional guidance this summer during “Mornings with Milton.”
The series will be offered at Collins Park Golf Course on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. until noon, June 22 through August 10, 2011. Boys and girls ages eight to 15 years old are eligible to participate. The sessions cost $5 per day, per child and special rates and playing times will be offered for students looking to put their newly acquired skills to use on the course.
The program will provide lessons, on-course instruction, course etiquette, on-course mentors and use of golf clubs. All lessons and instruction will be provided by PGA member Milton Carswell, Jr.
