ALMA's West African Dance Fitness class for Adults will be running every Saturday this summer at Common Space II.
(Kid's classes are on hiatus for the summer, but any kids accompanied by adults are WELCOME in the Adult class.)

Adult classes in traditional West African dance, designed to exercise your body & mind, and open your spirit to the healthful benefits of traditional West African music and dance.
Classes focus on FITNESS, and feature warm-ups & stretching, technical instruction & practice, and highlight the unique communication of the traditional drum and dance form.
ALMA dance classes feature LIVE DRUMMING from internationally-acclaimed artist & ALMA Artistic Director, Yaya Kabo, and ALMA Musical Director, Pevely. ALMA adult dance classes are led by ALMA Director, Allison Kodeih.
No experience is necessary & everyone is welcome, from beginner to advanced!
Best suited for ages 14 and up. Class fee is $10 per participant.
