Local Art Park at Red White Kaboom
The Toledo Blade invited the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo to have a part in the annual Red White Kaboom event. The 2011 Red White Kaboom event is presented by The Blade with sponsorship from Humana Inc, Taylor Automotive Group, Mercy Medical Partners and Dashing Pacific Group Ltd.
The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo is coordinating an area for local visual artists to sell their artwork and an opportunity for local performers with street performer’s licenses to add to the festivities at the 2011 Red White Kaboom event. The Arts Commission being a resource and link to visual, performing and literary artists throughout Toledo and surrounding areas is proud to be have a presence at this exciting Independence Day celebration along with our talented local artists.
Artists selling their artwork will have displays under the large tent of the “Arts Commission of Greater Toledo’s Local Art Park”, which will be located in Festival Park. Come explore the talents of artists displaying a wide range of artwork including anything from jewelry, paintings, fiber art and more.
There will be work from over 20 artists. Some familiar names include: Patrick Berning, Hannah Blanc, Dale Bogucki, Kelsey Carlson, Michelle Carlson, Bill Haas, Alan Hall, Debra Hoffmaster, Julie Jacobson, Pamela Lemons, Scott Lightfoot, Allison Maples, Chastidy Marrow, Erin Miller, Klaire Russell, Mr. Sticky, Adrienne Stinson, Eryn Thacker, plus more.
