"The Peep Show"
From the Kama Sutra to Robert Mapplethorpe, from Picasso to Tom of Finland (look it up), erotic art has always had a presence and influence in the visual arts. Curator Jan Thomas challenged area artists to explore their libido and to express themselves artistically. On July 16, 2011, the city of Toledo will experience its largest erotic art show. “The Peep Show” will be unveiled on this date (and again on July 21, for the Third Thursday ACGT Art Walk) at 1500 Adams St., next door to Manhattan's Restaurant. “The Peep Show” promises to be the first uncensored show of erotic art and poetry in Northwest Ohio, with over 30 local artists.
Admission is free to the show, you must be 18 years to enter.
