Knight Academy to Host Two Open Houses
July 14, 2011…The Knight Academy, a co-ed school for students in grades 5-8, will host open houses on Thursday, July 21 and Thursday, July 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests will be able to tour the school, meet staff members, and register for the 2011-12 school year. The school is located at 110 Arco Drive, off of Hill Avenue east of Byrne Road.
The Knight Academy is completing work on five new classrooms and will add Chinese to its language offerings for the coming school year. A “Race to the Top” school, the Academy offers advanced courses in science, language and technology, as well as an extended school day and school year. Its mission is to provide a superior educational experience focusing on academic preparation, and character and physical development.
