Toledo Walleye Announce 2nd Annual FinFest!
(Toledo, OH) – The Toledo Walleye are pleased to announce plans for the 2nd annual Walleye FinFest at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo. The event will take place on Saturday, October 8th and will offer interactive activities for fans of all ages and feature the Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo Wings in exhibition play. The Walleye and Wings will play an exhibition game at Kalamazoo on Friday, October 7 at 7:30 pm as well.
This year, the Toledo Walleye have partnered with United Way in order to launch the first “Fill The House for Charity” ticket fundraiser. Non-profit organizations can apply to sell FinFest tickets in order to raise money. Prizes will be awarded to groups that sell the most tickets. When: Saturday, October 8th at the Huntington Center (Doors open at 4:00 pm; Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo Wings exhibition game starts at 5:00 pm).
Walleye FinFest Ticket Information:
· Tickets for the Walleye FinFest will go on sale Friday, August 5th at 9:00 am.
· Tickets will be available at the Huntington Center box office, Fifth Third Field box office, by phone at (419) 725-WALL (9255) or online at www.toledowalleye.com/finfest
· Tickets are $10.00 each/$5.00 for kids (ages 3-12) - kids 2 and under are free.
· This event will have general admission seating.
Walleye FinFest Interactive Activities:
· On-Ice experience – shoot on goal at the Huntington Center – no skates (post-game)
· Photo opportunities on ice (post-game)
· Several Toledo Walleye players will be on hand during the On-Ice experience
· College Football in the Club Level Lounge
· Children activities will be available on the main concourse throughout the event
Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo Wings Exhibition Game (5:00 pm):
The Toledo Walleye will begin the regular season on Saturday, October 15 at home versus the Chicago Express at 7:00 PM at the Huntington Center. Ticket packages are on sale now and group outings are being reserved. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL for more information.
