PERRYSBURG, Ohio, July 29, 2011 – The Town Center at Levis Commons is the picturesque setting for the 7th Annual Levis Commons Fine Art Fair, presented by The Guild of Artists & Artisans. The juried fair is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21. Admission and parking are free.

Featuring more than 125 artists from around the country, the Levis Commons Fine Art Fair will offer treasures in jewelry, ceramics, painting, glass, photography, fiber, wood, leather, mixed media and more. The Toledo School of the Arts will present a children’s art activity center.

“We are thrilled to again bring the Levis Commons Fine Art Fair to our community,” said Casey Pogan, marketing director with The Town Center at Levis Commons, Hill Partners, Inc. “The fair has become a must-attend event in this area, and every year the quality of the art surpasses our expectations. You can see the passion and creativity of the artists in every piece.”

The fair is produced by The Guild of Artists & Artisans (the same group behind the prestigious Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair and the Crocker Park Art Fair in Westlake, Ohio). “The Guild’s mission is to help cultivate an appreciation for unique, hand-crafted pieces of fine art,” said Debra “Max” Clayton, Guild executive director.

“The artists’ work represents the inspiration they have received from their own lives, and is reflected in the pieces they produce. In addition, the artists and fair-goers are really drawn to the small town atmosphere of the Levis Commons Fine Art Fair. It’s an ideal combination that results in a truly special experience.”
