Picnic/silent auction August 28 at Mud Hens
Event: Hot August Night picnic/silent and live auctions to benefit Northwest Ohio Community Shares, a federation of 28 northwest Ohio-based non-profit organizations.
Date/Time: Sunday, August 28, 4 p.m.
Location: Fifth Third Field, downtown Toledo
Tickets: $35/person (or $20/child under 12) and includes admission to the Mud Hens game, an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and silent and live auctions. Call 419-243-6637 for tickets.
Background: Community Shares is an essential source of financial support and visibility in the community for 28 local non-profits which address some of the most pressing needs facing our community today: health and human services, education and the arts, the environment, and social justice and peace.
