International Festival Day at Sylvania Branch Library
(Released August 3, 2011) – Welcome to the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s International Festival Day, where the entire family can find treasures from Asia, the South Pacific, Africa and South America from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Saturday, August 6 at the Sylvania Branch Library, 6749 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH.
Officials at various booths will explore the cultures of our amazing world, with games, prizes, activities, stories and plenty of fun.
Special guest appearances include:
· Asian Storytelling by Condessa Croninger – 10-11 a.m.
· Magic Balloon Show by Poo Peck the Clown – 1-2 p.m.
· Music and Percussion by Adisa Ababa – 3-4 p.m.
International Festival Day is a FREE event the entire family will enjoy! We hope to see you on Saturday . . .
