9/11 NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE AND REMEMBRANCE “HEALTH FAIR”
Saturday, September 10, 2011 at The Body of Christ Fellowship Church, 5612 W. Bancroft Street, Toledo, Ohio, from the hours of 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All activities are FREE and open to the community.
Children will be provided with free dental, vision, and lead screenings. If needed, children will receive a free voucher for a complete eye exam, eyeglasses and sport goggles. As an added bonus, all children (K-12th grade) who attend this event will be provided with free school supplies. Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings will be available for adults. In addition, at 12 noon there will be a “9/11 Remembrance Ceremony” in honor of our Fallen Heroes.
Local health vendors will be available to answer health-related questions. Other activities include free food samples from local restaurants, beading, scrapbooking with photo, haircut gift certificates, hands-only CPR training, and much, much, more!!
