Sylvania Branch Library presents Shipwrecks of Lake Erie

(Released September 1, 2011) – Lake Erie has perhaps the largest concentration of shipwrecks per square mile of any body of water in the world. From the 1700s to the present, a variety of military and commercial vessels have been lost on her waters.

Join us to learn more at Shipwrecks of Lake Erie, a free program scheduled from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13 at Sylvania Branch Library, 6749 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH.

This FREE and open to the public presentation explores wreck types with their stories in chronological order and includes a recent tale of ship wreck and survival.
