Hosted by the Lucas County Green Party and Media Decompression Collective
10 years after 9/11...It's Time for Peace! The last 10 years have seen many lives lost and many families, communities, homes and land destroyed. The last 10 years have seen billions of dollars spent on the war, leaving less and less for education and real safety in our communities.
The Northwest Ohio Peace Coalition will be having their regular Sunday peace demo from 12:00-1:30 at the corner of Central & Secor.
Afterward, join guest VJ Amjad Doumani at the Truth Gallery for anti-war music videos from around the world. All people and poets are welcome to the open mic for peace poetry. Meet Toledo City Council candidates Sean Nestor (District 6) and Anita Rios (District 4) who support the Green Party's non-violence value and advocate for ending the war and bringing our dollars back home.
