TOLEDO, OHIO — The Toledo Museum of Art has launched a new smartphone app that provides Museum information and an in-depth look at TMA’s sculpture garden, all at the touch of a button.

The free app for iPhone and Droid allows people to stay up-to-date on what is happening at the Museum with quick and easy access to the events calendar, visitor information and the latest TMA news.

An interactive tour of the Welles Sculpture Garden includes an introductory video by Museum Director Brian Kennedy, informative text and audio about the 24 sculptures located throughout the Museum grounds, and behind-the-scenes video clips about some of the objects featuring Amy Gilman, associate director and curator of contemporary art.

The Museum’s first mobile device app is sponsored by Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick and Madhouse Creative.
