Get on Board - Passenger Rail Forum Open to the Public
There is growing interest in travel by rail and exciting developments around the Midwest. People interested in new high speed rail travel are invited to attend the Passenger Rail Forum Luncheon Monday, October 17, at 11:30 a.m. at the Toledo Club, 235 14th Street in Toledo.
The program for the luncheon will look at developments on the Detroit-Ann Arbor-Chicago route with a description of the benefits of high speed rail. Speakers include Tim Hoeffner, Office of Rail, Michigan Department of Transportation; and Michael Benham, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority.
The program is hosted by Northwest Ohio Passenger Rail Association (NOPRA) and the TMACOG Public Transit & Passenger Rail Committee. The lunch and presentation is open to the public (fee is $25). Please register by contacting Diane Reamer-Evans at 419.241.9155 ext. 117, or e-mail [email protected].
