Young Entrepreneur to Appear in Black Enterprise Magazine
(Released October 4, 2011) – The October 2011 issue of Black Enterprise magazine is scheduled to feature an article on young Toledo entrepreneur Will Lucas for his existing technology companies and soon-to-be launched innovative mobile technology brands.
To respectfully honor Lucas, a news conference and celebration is scheduled from 6-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13 at Our Brothers Place, 233 N. Huron St., in downtown Toledo, where Lucas will be honored with proclamations from community officials. The event is open to the public and media.
Black Enterprise Senior Vice President and Editor-at-large Alfred Edmond, Jr. discovered Lucas on Twitter, and the rest is history! Reading his resume, it becomes clearly evident why Edmond took an interest in the 31-year-old Toledoan and ordered an article on him in the respected magazine.
Lucas, a husband and father of one, is founder and CEO of Creadio, a national custom Internet streaming service that gives businesses a custom radio and television station to promote their brands in-house. He is a self-described “serial entrepreneur” for the many business hats he wears including being the president of A William Lucas Company, which houses several Internet technology projects; founder of King’s Kid Academy and www.BELIEVE1.org , and he is a musician and area radio personality. In addition, Lucas is the creator of TEDxToledo (http://TED.com and http://TEDxToledo.com).
Lucas, a respected speaker on technology, motivation, business and social issues, is in the process of launching his first mobile-application titled vinyu; and is launching a social media brand titled Thank you, again, which will allow followers to share the “good” in their lives (i.e. a birth announcement, surviving cancer, landing a dream job) in micro-blog form.
The October 2011 issue of Black Enterprise is scheduled to appear on newsstands during the week of October 10th.
