Hale Performance Coatings Selects Infor ERP VISUAL Software
Hale Performance Coatings, a provider of metal finishing services for tools, dies, molds and more, has selected Infor ERP VISUAL manufacturing software to improve their business processes. HPC will implement the ERP Software System in the coming months. The solution was purchased through Business Technical Consulting, LLC (BizTech), an Infor Channel Partner in Toledo, OH, and BizTech will provide the Implementation Support.
The functionality of Infor ERP VISUAL manufacturing software will enable Hale Performance Coatings to improve its operational efficiency and manage the flow of its business information. HPC currently uses manual systems for receiving, in-process work orders and shipping documents. They also have separate quoting, purchasing and accounting systems, which have little integration.
“We are in the process of working towards our NADCAP accreditation, and one deficiency that needed to be addressed was the ‘hand-written’ process instructions, and our continuing act of ‘hunting’ down old paperwork. Formal documentation of our in-process instructions and integrating all of our systems is a must,” said Mike Reese, HPC’s Business Management Assistant. “Also, Infor ERP VISUAL will provide us with a 24-hour ‘visual’ look at work-in-process, which will allow us to see how work is progressing through our shop- thus giving us the ability to be more proactive in meeting customer needs. We are a 24/7 facility, and this software will further allow us to provide even more exceptional customer service.”
In addition, Hale Performance Coatings will continue using BizTech for Complete IT Support. Reese added, “To be honest, the most compelling reason for choosing VISUAL was that we have been using Computer Works of Toledo (BizTech) as our IT department, and they have provided us with excellent service.” HPC will implement the ERP software in the next four months.
