Works by Emerging Artists From Area Colleges Shown at TMA
TOLEDO, OHIO–Students from four area campuses were selected by their institutions to have their work represent the best of their art programs in a new exhibition at the Toledo Museum of Art.
4 Art: Student Art from Bowling Green State University, Lourdes University, Owens Community College and the University of Toledo features nearly 100 works in a variety of media by the institutions’ most talented emerging artists. The free exhibition will be shown Oct. 21, 2011 through Jan. 12, 2012 in the Museum’s Community Gallery.
An opening reception will be held from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21. It is free and open to the public. In addition, on that evening only, the Museum will offer free admission to The Egypt Experience and free parking token to those with a valid college ID.
