EOPA & Library Present Annual Reverse Job Fair

(Released October 11, 2011) – The Economic Opportunity Planning Association of Greater Toledo, Inc. (E.O.P.A.) in partnership with the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library are scheduled to present an Annual Reverse Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 17 in the Huntington Meeting Room at Main Library, 325 Michigan St.

What is a Reverse Job Fair? A reverse job fair is an event where job seekers are the exhibitors. Job seekers construct displays and receive on-the-spot interviews from potential employers.

There is no cost for job seekers to participate in the reverse job fair, but all participants must complete a registration form in order to participate. Registration forms can be downloaded by visiting the E.O.P.A. Web site at www.eopa.org – complete and fax the form back to 419.242.8263. On the fax subject line please address to: Reverse Job Fair. Registration forms are also available at EOPA, 505 Hamilton St., or in the Business Technology department on the first floor of Main Library.

Here’s additional helpful information to participate in the Annual Reverse Job Fair:

· 9:45 a.m.-10:30 a.m. is the time period that all Job Seekers should arrive on November 17 to set-up their tables. Doors will open at 9:45 a.m.
· Job Seekers that need help to prepare for this event may attend two E.O.P.A. workshops titled “Marketing Yourself” scheduled from 10-11 a.m. and again from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9 at E.O.P.A, 505 Hamilton St. To register for either workshop, please call 419.255.1082, Ext. 2233 before or by 3 p.m. on November 8.

· FREE parking is available in the underground parking garage at Main Library. Upon entry into the garage, be sure to pull a ticket and inform the event receptionist to provide you with a VIP ticket.
