Prospect students to experience UT at Fall Preview Day

The University of Toledo will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families to visit campus on Fall Preview Day to experience what the University has to offer.

During Fall Preview Day, which will take place 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 on the UT Main Campus, attendees will have a chance to meet with representatives from the specific college or major of their interest, attend financial aid and scholarship meetings and take a tour of campus, among other planned activities. Prospective students alsowill have the chance to receive an instant admission decision into the University.

Prospective students and their families will be welcomed as a group to campus 9-10 a.m. in the Student Union Auditorium where there will be a sign in, audience participation and welcome presentation. Following the presentation, the guests will disperse to experience the University.

“Fall Preview Day is a great opportunity for high school students and their families to tour our campus in-person, meet face-to-facewith our faculty and staff, and learn more about the UT experience,” said Lawrence J. Burns, vice president for external affairs and interim vice president for equity, and diversity.

“We have more than 1,000 prospective students and families attending Preview Day this Saturday,” said Amelia Acuna, assistant director of customer service and image projection. “The Office of Undergraduate Admission has some new and exciting activities planned, and we are looking forward tohosting our students and families and showing them what a fine institution UT is and that it is the right fit for them.”

Fall Preview Day also provides an opportunity to tour University residence halls and experience different areas of UT student life.
