Azimuth Technologies, a privately-held firm providing engineering and system integration services to manufacturing clients throughout the Midwest, recently announced plans to hire for the position of Controls Engineer.
Job Summary:
Provide electrical control system design and programming to develop turnkey solutions for various clients and applications.
Essential Functions:
• Electrical controls systems/panel design
• PLC programming
• HMI programming
• Validate systems per specifications
• Coordinate startups
• Provide client support as required
• Provide end-user training
Knowledge and Abilities:
• Control system design
• PLC programming (Allen-Bradley)
• HMI Programming (Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, etc.)
• AutoCAD
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong oral and written skills
Minimum Requirements:
4-year engineering or technical degree or degree completion within one year.
