T-LCPL cardholders now have access to additional items
(Released November 18, 2011) –Toledo-Lucas County Public Library cardholders can now enjoy access to millions of additional books, DVDs and CDs, thanks to a new collaborative program between OhioLINK and SearchOhio. The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is already a member of SearchOhio, a resource-sharing network of 19 public library systems throughout the state, and this collaboration provides direct access to approximately 50 million additional items from the collections of the 90 academic libraries in OhioLINK.
“Ohio’s libraries have always explored ways to share resources, expand access and better serve our constituents,” says Clyde Scoles, Director of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. “But this collaboration between OhioLINK and SearchOhio is especially exciting because it gives Ohioans unprecedented access to millions of additional materials.”
Library cardholders may use the SearchOhio and OhioLINK functions in the online catalog to find and request items for delivery to their local branch.
