Northwest Ohio Brand Council Launches Website
The Toledo Region Branding Initiative reached a milestone in its effort to promote the area with the launch of a new comprehensive website, www.toledoregion.com.
With the launch of www.toledoregion.com, the area is primed to attract new economic opportunities, ready to connect businesses with our skilled workforce, and prepared to take full advantage of resources only the Toledo Region can offer.
“This website provides a valuable tool for regional entrepreneurs, business owners, and site selectors to find everything they need to attract and accelerate their opportunities in the region,” said Dean Monske, President and CEO of the Regional Growth Partnership.
The initiative began more than two years ago with a collaboration of 12 public and private organizations committed to championing the region. They work together with the mission that economic development isn’t about a single community; it is about a region.
“With increased competition among cities and regions for economic development, it was time for the Toledo Region to start touting its qualities and strengths,” said Joe Napoli, President of the NW Ohio Brand Council. “The site provides a wealth of information, resources, and images confirming the Toledo Region’s position as ‘The Heart of the New Manufacturing Economy’.”
The New Manufacturing Economy is distinctly entrepreneurial in spirit. The Toledo Region possesses the best of the new manufacturing mindset. It’s ingrained in the business community, upheld by the universities, and embraced by the region’s people.
