The Advertising Club of Toledo and The Blade present Larry Burns, VP of the University of Toledo’s Office of External Affairs, at their monthly luncheon series. Mr. Burns will speak on "Integrated Marketing...connecting all the pieces." Integrated Marketing/Communications has replaced the traditional silos of Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations and Sales. If you are not integrated you don't have a chance.

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at The Toledo Club, 235 14th Street. Networking begins at 11:30, luncheon buffet opens at 11:45, and the program starts at noon.

RSVP by Monday, January 16 to Executive Director, Patty Schoepf, 419-866-4199 or director @adclubtoledo.org. Admission is $25, $20 for AdClub members and $15 for students.

Please bring a personal grooming item (soap, razor, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush, etc.) for either a man or woman, or a towel, or linens for single size beds, to benefit St. Paul's Community Center and be entered to win a $25 Target Gift Card.

Since 1990 Mr. Larry Burns has provided strategic leadership for the University's recruitment efforts, as well as University marketing and communications, clinical marketing, Web development, fundraising, and diversity and entrepreneurial activities.

In November of 2008, Larry was also appointed the title of "Interim Vice President of Equity and Diversity". He works closely with numerous offices to foster a culture of diversity across all of UT's campuses. He fundamentally believes that The University of Toledo's drive toward creating a welcoming environment will create abundant opportunities for all people while being respectful of their beliefs, backgrounds, needs and viewpoints.

The Advertising Club of Toledo is a nonprofit professional and social organization for individuals actively involved in the creation and production of advertising and marketing communications materials. Formed in 1909, the ACT and its members remain dedicated to providing professional education and promoting fellowship among members and the community they serve.
