Toledo AdClub to Present 2012 ADDY Awards
January 18, 2012 (Toledo, Ohio) – Invitations are out for the Advertising Club of Toledo’s annual ADDY® Awards presentation on Thursday, February 23rd at The Pinnacle. The evening begins at 6:00 P.M. with cocktails followed by dinner and presentation of awards.
The ADDY Awards, presented by the Advertising Club of Toledo, recognize and showcase Northwest Ohio’s best advertising creative talent. Over 250 entries in categories such as broadcast, print and interactive were received this year from local agencies, businesses and individuals in the northwest Ohio/southeast Michigan market. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. The Advertising Club of Toledo is a member of the 5th District AAF (Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky).

Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support educational programs and public service projects of the Advertising Club of Toledo and its various members.
The ADDY Awards Competition is sponsored by the Advertising Club of Toledo, a professional and social organization for individuals actively involved in the creation and production of advertising and marketing communications materials. The nonprofit (501C6) organization was originally formed in 1909 and remains dedicated to providing professional education and promoting fellowship among members and the community they serve. ACT is a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) headquartered in Washington, D.C., the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry.
