Take The Stairs Tour Coming to Toledo
PURPOSE:?TAKE THE STAIRS TOUR COMING TO TOLEDO! On February 23, 2012, nationally-acclaimed author Rory Vaden will present a FREE, live event to help build character in adults and young people and raise funds for Youth Leadership Toledo.

?DETAILS:?On February 7, 2012, Penguin Publishing is releasing a new book from self-discipline strategist Rory Vaden called “Take the Stairs – 7 Steps to Achieving True Success.” New York Times bestselling author Andy Andrews calls the book a “challenging and compelling call for all of us to accomplish greatness” as the book talks about the psychology of overcoming procrastination, shares inspiring and pragmatic strategies for improving our self-discipline, and straightforward systems for how to get ourselves to do things we don’t want to do.
As part of the book-release, Mr. Vaden has scheduled the “Take the Stairs” tour to 20 states in 30 days. He and his Take the Stairs team have chosen Youth Leadership Toledo to receive 100% of funds raised at the local event. David Schlaudecker, executive director of Leadership Toledo (LT), commented “We were fortunate that local dentist Dr. Peter Urbanik, through the Smiles for Life initiative, encouraged Rory to include Toledo in his tour. Rory’s approach of achieving results by action is completely consistent with LT’s philosophy and both adults and teenswill enjoy this thought-provoking and fun-filled presentation.
