It’s Mutt Madness at the Toledo Area Humane Society
Toledo, OH – The animals at the Toledo Area Humane Society are bouncing with excitement over March Madness basketball! With March Madness just gearing up, the dogs, cats and pocket pets are more anxious then ever to find homes so they can snuggle up, cheer on your favorite team and help you keep an eye on your bracket!
TAHS wants to get into the action with its very own “Mutt Madness” - brackets just for the animals! Beginning Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 11, the Toledo Area Humane Society is offering reduced adoption fees for several of our animals who’ve placed into the brackets. Adoption fees for animals participating in “Mutt Madness” range from $64 to $8! Animals participating in Mutt Madness have specially marked kennel cards indicating their special adoption price so adopters can easily identify participants. There will also be a bracket board in the front lobby of the shelter.
No matter what type of teammate you’re looking for, TAHS has someone perfect for you! All animals adopted from TAHS have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, have been vet checked and are ready to go home and be a part of your family team!
The Toledo Area Humane Society is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am – 6pm. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization they are committed to the welfare of animals by providing temporary shelter and care while seeking permanent homes. Donations from local individuals, corporations and monies generated by fundraisers are a major source of funding for the Toledo Area Humane Society.
