Owens Community College to Host Regional Job Fair
PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Area college and university graduates and students are invited to learn about and explore various employment opportunities available throughout the surrounding region as Owens Community College serves as host to the Collegiate Employ-Net Regional Job Fair on Friday, March 30.
Presented by Collegiate Employ-Net, a consortium of 18 colleges and universities in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, the regional job fair will occur from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the College’s Student Health and Activities Center on the Toledo-area Campus. Owens is located on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township. Admission to event is free and professional attire and a resume are required.
Throughout the event, individuals can meet with over 90 business and industry representatives about employment opportunities. In addition, attendees will be able to fill out applications for various employment opportunities. Individuals are also encouraged to bring several copies of their resume in preparation for any impromptu interviews.
Area employers in attendance will include Advance Staffing Solutions, Auto-Owners Insurance Co., Cedar Point, Cummins Bridgeway LLC, HCR ManorCare, Healing Arts Institute, Otterbein Portage Valley, Penske Truck Leasing, Piping Industry Training Center, Quicken Loans, Sherwin-Williams Co., The Home Depot, Ohio Highway Patrol, Toledo Zoo, Transportation Research Center Inc., Verizon Wireless and Wood Lane Residential Services Inc., among many others.
