Toledo Company to Give Away Free Website to Local Nonprofit
Solar Valley has announced the launch of a contest to award a free website and Internet marketing package to a local nonprofit organization (a $5,000 value). The contest, which runs through May 31, 2012, involves users nominating non-profits in the Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan area on Solar Valley’s Facebook page. The entry with the most votes at the end of the contest will win the grand prize, which includes a new website, search engine optimization, a social media package, free website hosting for a year, and a consultation with a nonprofit communications consultant.
“It’s a great way for us to get involved with our local community,” said Karin Green, co-owner of Solar Valley. “Nonprofit organizations’ budgets are often stretched thin, and most of the time their website doesn’t make the list of priorities. We feel a strong online presence is important for nonprofits, so we want to do our part to support them.”
