Call For Artists For NW Ohio Blues and Jazz Fest
The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank is requesting creative artists and mind and body artists to participate in the NW Ohio Blues and Jazz Festival to showcase and sell handmade items or services. The NW Ohio Blues and Jazz Festival will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 12 am at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania. Artist’s applications available online at toledofoodbank.org.
This benefit for the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank will present Grammy-nominated, platinum and gold international recording artists, Spyro Gyra. Additional musical guests include Joe McBride, Kelly Richey and the Swamp Kings. All the money raised from the NW Ohio Blues & Jazz Festival will benefit the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank working to end hunger and food insecurity in our community.
The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank provides emergency food for an estimated 87,100 different people annually. The mission of the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank is to enable other community organizations to end hunger. We strive to maximize community resources by effectively obtaining and distributing food through a food collection and distribution system. The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank serves more than 300 non-profit agencies in eight northwest Ohio counties including Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Williams, and Wood.
