ACGT Announces The Gallery Loop

Posted: Tuesday, April 10, 2012 by: Michelle Carlson | Category: Arts and Entertainment

All aboard! One of The Arts Commission’s most popular programs returns this month as The Gallery Loop offers local art lovers and entertainment seekers an evening of complimentary bus rides to 20 great local venues in Downtown Toledo, featuring nearly 100 local, regional, and national artists.

The Gallery Loop will feature two free Bus Loops circling separate parts of Downtown Toledo simultaneously, joined together at one convenient Transfer Location. Why? Because who doesn’t want to see more art?

How it Works

The Red Loop will explore the Arts Zone, Warehouse District, and the Central Business District. The Blue Loop ventures into Uptown and the Old West End. Want to change Loops? It’s easy. Visitors can transfer to a different colored loop at the 333 Gallerie at Toledo School for the Arts.

The Gallery Loop is a program of The Arts Commission’s Live Work Create Toledo initiative, embracing economic development and revitalization through the arts. The Gallery Loops are a free, fun way to help acclimate the citizens of Greater Toledo to the exciting creativity happening in the Downtown core, and to become familiar with the wealth of artists, galleries, studios, and local businesses that populate the area.

Parking

Thanks to our generous program sponsors, there are a number of free, convenient parking options for Loop visitors. Additional parking options are included with each venue description below.
