Local Artist/Author Book Signing At InProcess
Northwood, OH, April 28, 2012 - Tracy Swartz, a Walbridge, Ohio artist and author will be at InProcess in Northwood, OH from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM to sign her new children’s book, “The Story of Susan B. Cat”. This story, inspired by her whimsical gourd creation “Susan B. Cat”, is a delightful journey through the eyes of a magical cat who guards the flowers as they sleep and is suitable for children ages one to seven. The book was illustrated by her mother, P.A. Green who brought “Susan B. Cat” from gourd to page. Tracy Swartz also created a small “litter” of Susan B. Kittens, a miniature version of the original Susan B. Cat who remains in her private collection.
Tracy Swartz is a self-taught artist and author who discovered the joy of working with gourds and words in 2004. She continues to hone her creative talent and is actively working on a line of gourd dolls, whimsical characters and short children’s stories. She believes it's important to remember the lighter side of life and that magic abounds if one is open to looking for it.
She is honored to be one of over 100 local and regional artists who display and sell their artwork through InProcess.
