FREE Community Plant Exchange May 5

Posted: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 by: Zoe Scheuer | Category: Community Interest

All are welcome to join local gardeners for this FREE exchange. You never know what you're going to find, but we usually get bulbs, perennials, herbs, Oak Openings natives, vegetables, books, landscaping materials and much more.

Master gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. And everyone is invited to attend a FREE workshop on hydroponic vertical gardening at 9:15 in the Original Sub Shop.

Please bring plants and gardening paraphernalia in good condition. All plants should be labeled with as much information as possible: name, color, growing conditions, blooming times, etc. In exchange for your donations, you'll receive tickets redeemable for plants and other goods. Even if you don't bring a donation, you'll have a chance to get some plants.

It all happens Saturday, May 5, Rain or Shine!
