2012 Brown Bag Summer Concert Series Returns

It’s in the Bag! So walk away from the water cooler and grab your blanket or lawn chair, favorite co-workers, and a brown bag full of munchies for the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s favorite lunchtime outdoor music series.

The 2012 Brown Bag Summer Concert Series is a free, seven-week music event that runs from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., on Wednesdays from June 6 through July 25 on the North Lawn of Main Library, 325 Michigan Street, in downtown Toledo.

Summer schedule:

June 6 The Good, the Bad, and the Blues (Blues)
June 13 Tom Turner and Slow Burn (Blues, Jazz, & R&B)
June 20 Glinda’s Bubble (Adult Rock)
June 27 Just Kiddin’ Around (Children’s)
July 11 Jason Quick Trio (Jazz)
July 18 Dave Carpenter (Acoustic Singer/Songwriter)
July 25 Rodney Parker and Liberty Beach (Country)

Often, food and refreshment vendors are on hand, or food can be purchased in the Library Café (located on the Garage level entry of Main Library), for those who don’t bring a brown bag lunch The Brown Bag Concert Series is a FREE, family-friendly downtown event.
