The University of Toledo CVA Gallery presents:
REFLECTIONS + REFRACTIONS
2 Dimensional Artwork Inspired by Glass
June 11 - July 8, 2012
Opening Reception: Friday, June 15, 6 to 8 p.m.
The CVA Gallery is presents Reflections + Refractions; 2 Dimensional Artwork Inspired by Glass. This exhibition is being presented in conjunction with the Glass Art Society’s 42nd Annual Conference, held this year in Toledo, June 13-June16. Utilizing diverse forms of media, eighteen selected national and local artists present their interpretations of the visual effects of glass.
The Featured artists: Jeffery Abt, Heather Barns, Zlatka Bascandzieva, Hilary Brown, Dottie Campbell, Leah Cooper, Alisha Doxey, Ruth Foote, Kathy Goodell, Meggan Gould, Candace Hitt, Joe Johnson, Inna Linov, Nancy McGee, Michelle Murillo, Atsuko Tajima, Raphael Warshaw and Bonnie Wylo.
Reflections + Refractions has been curated and organized by the University of Toledo Center for the Visual Arts Gallery and Spring Semester Gallery Practices students.
A reception will be held Friday, June 15th, 2012, 6 -8pm. The CVA Gallery will be open extended hours, until 10:30pm, on Friday, June 15 as part of the Glass Art Society’s 42nd Annual Conference Gallery Hop.
