Point Place Days Parade & Events

The annual Point Place Days celebration
will be held throughout the month of June.
The annual parade will be Saturday, June 2, at
noon. The parade route includes Summit
Street and 131st Street, starting at 108th and
ending at the Masonic Harbor Light Lodge.
Featured groups include the Glassmen Drum
and Bugle Corps, Shriners, Woodward High
School Band and the Genoa American Legion
Band.
This year's theme is:
The POINT, a PLACE for All Seasons

Following is a schedule of activities
planned for the week:
May 31 through June 2

•Community Garage Sale.
Saturday, June 2

•From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.–food, craft and
rummage sale by members of the Friendship
Park Community Center, 2930 131st Street
•From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.–Garden Club plant
sale at the Crimping Tree

•From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.–Placers Car and
Truck Show at Friendship Park, 2930 131st
Street

10 a.m.–Dress Your Pet Contest at Messiah
Lutheran Church.

•10:30 a.m.–Decorate Your Bike Contest at
Messiah Lutheran Church
•11 a.m.–Chicken barbecue at American
Legion #110

•Noon–22nd ANNUAL POINT PLACE DAYS PARADE

•From 2 to 5 p.m.–Free bicycle inspection
and repair at CrossPoint Community Church
