On Friday, the Toledo community will tee off in honor of Lourdes University students at the institution’s annual Hit the Links golf outing. Sponsored by Goodremonts, the fundraiser has brought in more than $221,000 for student scholarships since its inception in 2000.
The day’s activities include a welcome by Lourdes President Robert Helmer, PhD, JD and prizes for Closest to the Pin, Hole-in-One, Longest Drive and Longest Putt, as well as top men’s, women’s and mixed team awards. Hit the Links closes with a lunch in the clubhouse at 1 p.m. where the awards will also be announced.
