Reggae Band Groovemaster to Perform at Music at the Market

Raggae band Groovemaster will be the featured entertainers at Music at the Market, Thursday, June 21, 7 p.m. at Commodore Square, 140 E. Indiana, Perrysburg. Presented by Perrysburg Area Arts Council and sponsored by the City of Perrysburg, the concert is free and open to the public. Concertgoers are only asked to bring a blanket or chair for seating.
Formed in 1988, Groovemaster has been consistently pleasing audiences all over Ohio with their brand of root-style and dance-hall raggae. Groovemaster has appeared before standing room only crowds at Howard's Club H and Easy Street in Bowling Green, Splash and the Empire Ballroom in Cleveland, Mother's Junction in Kent, Ohio, and Frankie's and Shooter's Waterfront Cafe' in Toledo. The group also has performed as the headliner for a concert organized by Amnesty International and opened Toledo's first raggae Rally by the River.
