Dental Center of NW OH to host 5th Annual 'A Toast to Teeth'

WHAT:
The Dental Center of Northwest Ohio’s 5th annual signature community event, A Toast to Teeth, will raise awareness of the barriers to quality dental care and funds to continue much needed programs for those less fortunate. This year’s event will benefit the Smile Express mobile dental office, the Dental Assistance Program (DAP), and the Blanchard Valley Dental Center/Hancock County Christian Clearing House collaboration.

First event in the newly remodeled
The Premier Banquet Complex
4480 Heatherdowns Blvd.
Toledo, OH 43614

WHO WILL ATTEND:
**Sashem Brey, 13ABC, will emcee the evening.
**The event will recognize referring agencies who share the Dental Center’s passion and commitment to providing oral health care to underserved children and adults.
**Mercy St. Vincent’s ED, Toledo Lucas County CareNet, Wood County Health Dept., Help Me Grow, City Mission Findlay, Port Clinton City Schools, and Black and White Cab are some of the many agencies that will be honored.
** Local officials Mayor Bell of Toledo, Mayor Mihalik of Findlay, and Bowling Green Mayor Edwards have been extended invitation.
** Guests from both the dental and medical communities are expected, as well as councilmen and supporting sponsors.

WHY:
In 2011, the Dental Center proudly assisted and served more than 23,000 low income adults and children throughout 18 northwest Ohio counties. A Toast to Teeth helps ensure the continued success of the the organization's programs so that unnecessary dental pain can be relieved, and whenever possible prevented, through treatment and education.
